A very comfortable shoe. The leather lining is doeskin soft. Somewhat lacking in arch support, but not bad. The shoe is very light feeling, but the soles seem to wear like iron. They help the shoe keep it's shape nicely. It has been mentioned that this shoe breaks in fast and *looks* like it. This is true - especially of the black version. To be fair, this shoe is not really for dress and is a bit utilitarian in appearance. Any shoe modeled on a moccasin is going to look "broke-in". The way I see it, that's OK as long as it is as comfy as this one is. The only real con is that the laces are a bit cheap-looking and they pill. I did mention the meager arch support, but if you need more, you should be wearing orthotics anyway. I own both the black and "mineral" versions of this shoe. I also own the Seawalkers and prefer the Fusion Moc Tie.
