Beautiful soft leather and quiet when you walk too. I normally wear a steady size 8 M, which I tried and had to return because they were a bit too big. I exchanged for a 7 1/2 M and they fit perfectly - tight across the instep, a little bit of a slip in the heel - and perfectly comfortable. I'm plotting my justification for buying another pair of Lucchese boots!
